This wok's professional weight is 2.0 mm of aluminum and carbon steel made for use on gas or electric burners. The Flat Bottom Wok's body is comprised of two layers of aluminum surrounding a carbon-steel core for rapid, even heating and cooling ¿ a must for any stir-fry. I've gotta say - 14 inches of metal is a lot heavier than I thought. Unless you're rocking huge family dinners - I recommend going with a smaller size.

Wow! This wok exceeded all my expectations. This is my second one of these woks, my first lasted 8 years and the nonstick coating still help up--the only reason I had to replace it was that it went missing. I would recommend this to anyone, its large and great for making stir fry for a family of 4

This is the best non stick Wok under $150 available on the market. The coating is really tough and it heats evenly. I have been using this item for at least 2 years and have yet to scratch it or damage the coating. I wish Joyce Chen made more pans in different shapes and sizes!

The non-stick coating worked really well in the first 3 month but it started to peel and became very sticky. Not for serious chinese stir fry, very disappointed.
